Foundation for Safer Schools Now (FSSN) is a funding source serving communities and school districts in desperate need of tools and strategies to eliminate or reduce the harm to children, faculty, and staff stemming from shootings in our schools. Through donor support, the Foundation for Safer Schools Now is funding grants to schools to provide the following resources:

Training under school shooting scenarios to faculty and staff focused on life-saving techniques of concealment and escape and the management and protection of children in panic and crisis situations.

School Resource Officers placed on campus by local law enforcement agencies trained to assist the school faculty and staff to continually maintain a safe, secure environment.

Equipment including surveillance cameras and monitors, portable internal communication devices, locks, safe rooms and other devices aimed at securing and withstanding surprise and indiscriminate attacks.
